Your key responsibilities include becoming familiar with the exhibition and featured artists, following procedures to open and close the gallery, inviting guests to sign the guest book, sharing information about the MAC and current exhibitions, handling purchases for artwork or gift shop items, and overseeing the safety and security of both visitors and the art on display.
You’ll report to the MAC Volunteer Coordinator and receive support from both them and the Exhibition Team. Volunteers should possess a passion for the arts, strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational ability, and a diplomatic approach. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and follow business casual dress code. In return, you’ll gain opportunities to connect with others, both new and familiar, and help promote the arts within the Minto community and beyond.
